Huy M. Do, M.D. has been on faculty at the Stanford University School of Medicine for nearly 20 years. He holds appointments in the departments of Radiology and Neurosurgery with the rank of Professor. His area of expertise is in minimally invasive treatment of patients with vascular disorders of the brain and spinal cord such as acute stroke, aneurysms, and vascular malformation.
Dr. Do has conducted research, published and lectured extensively on these subjects. Huy was the director of the neuroradiology fellowship training program at Stanford for over 10 years; he has taught and trained over 100 physicians in the subspecialty of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. He served on the Board of Directors for the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, and is currently on the editorial board of several medical journals and on the Advisory Committee for the Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Do received his bachelor and medical degrees from Brown University. He completed residency and fellowship programs at the University of Washington, UCLA, and the University of Virginia.
