Nan Geschke is a retired librarian and middle school teacher. She managed the Westinghouse Research Facility library in Sunnyvale during the 1980’s. Nan also worked as a sales director and a consultant for a small library placement firm until 1993. Nan served as President of the San Andreas (Silicon Valley) chapter of the Special Libraries Association in 1986-87.

Nan served on the Historical Commission of the City of Los Altos, California for ten years from 1991 to 2000, serving as chair for six years. While on the commission, Nan produced the Los Altos History Show for eight years. She was one of two project managers who helped plan and build Los Altos’ first museum, the Los Altos History Museum.

Nan holds a bachelors degree in History and Political Science from Marygrove College and a master’s degree in Library Science from San Jose State University.
