Fund a year-round math program at a high-need school in Santa Clara or San Mateo County. Give as many as 35 underserved students a chance at academic success in middle school over the summer and throughout the school year.

Fund a summer and/or after-school class at a high-need school in Santa Clara or San Mateo County. Improve the academic motivation and success of 25 low-income students.

Fund a certified math teacher in ALearn's year-round programs for 6th, 7th & 8th graders. Teachers trained in Common Core Math and Growth Mindset have the greatest impact on a student's academic success.

$5,000

Fund 2 Teaching Assistants (TA) in a summer math class. TAs provide math instruction support, college-readiness lessons, serve as first-generation role models, and enable ALearn's students to benefit from a 1:12 to 1:15 teacher- student ratio. Many of these college students aspire to be teachers themselves.

Fund 5 middle school or high school students in our summer programs for 6th thru 11th graders. Students study Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Common Core Math 1, or Common Core Math 2.
